Here again...updating my blog...trying to recover my delays!:-)
So Thailand now...and what a wonderful trip: for the 1st time in my sabbatical trip (with the exception of the volunteering) I stayed more than 5 days in the same place...11 days in Koh Phi Phi, a record !!:-)
That was not planned at all...but that's the wonderful thing about a sabbatical year: no plans or change of plans ! ;-)
And why ? Just because I had an amazing time:
- Diving day and night as much as I could to see the sea wonders of Phi Phi at the great Longbeach Divers centre (haha I am doing a little bit of promotion here...!)
- Snorkelling with black tip sharks just in front of my bungalow
- Learning how to do a traditional Thai massage with the amazing little Ying (I was her 1st student and she was an amazing teacher!)
- Admiring the local "fire dances" almost every night...awesome show, the guys are my heroes (I will upload some videos for once!)
- Tanning and resting on the beach, listening to my i-pod
- Trekking in the jungle of this small but cute island
- Touring on the islands with a speed boat and visiting "THE Beach" (haha but instead of Leo just hundreds of disappointed tourists !!)
- Eating, drinking, and making great friends...that's also the wonders of this kind of travelling...getting to meet wonderful people..."la cerise sur le gateau" :-)
So what else did I need ?? Now you understand me hehe...

Note: thanks to John my Dive Instructor for the diving pictures....that was the "hunt" for the leopard shark...and he found it right for my last dive day at 26 mts !! Merci :-)
Now in Australia...and preparing for more diving!
